Is Cowork Available on Windows?

Not yet. As of February 2026, Claude Cowork is only available on macOS through the Claude Desktop app. It runs in a sandboxed virtual machine using Apple's Virtualization Framework.

Anthropic has announced plans for Windows support but hasn't provided a release date. Windows users can use Claude Code for similar agentic capabilities focused on coding workflows.

  1. Open Claude Desktop → Cowork tab
  2. Click Plugins (bottom-left corner)
  3. Click Add marketplace
  4. Enter: https://agentskill.sh/marketplace.json
  5. Browse and install learn (or any skill)
